Founded on Legacy, Built on Connection
Boxwood started in 2020 with a simple belief: make room for what matters; because life gets loud. Calendars fill up. Weeks blur together. And before you know it, another season’s gone. So we built something that forces the pause. A tee time you don’t cancel. A trip you commit to. A reason to get outside, put the phone down, and be fully there.

We are a social golf club. We respect the game — the traditions, the etiquette, the grind to get better — but we leave the stuffiness at the door. No country club politics. No ego. No gatekeeping. Just good people who love to compete and love to have a great time doing it.

BGC is competition — but the right kind. You want to win. Of course you do. But you’re also the first to hype up your buddy when he pipes one down the middle. It’s first tee jitters. Mid-round chirping. Walking off 18 knowing you earned it.

Shared carts. Firm handshakes. Post-round hang outs. Stories that somehow get better every year.
From small local meetups to travel events that feel like traditions in the making, everything we do is built around two things: good golf & great people.

History of BGC
The first Boxwood Invitational was dreamed up in late 2019, set to launch on April 17, 2020… and then, well, life happened. The pandemic shut things down. But the idea stuck, the mission stayed true, and after a lot of ups and downs, we finally tee’d it up on June 18, 2022.
What started as a single event quickly grew into something bigger — The Boxwood Golf Club, a community built around the spirit of that first Invitational. From one day on the course to a full season of events in the Boxwood Invitational Circuit, we’ve watched friendships form, rivalries spark, and memories stack up.

The Circuit is all about tradition, adventure, and exploration. There’s something for everyone — from local meetups at the range or Top Golf to travel trips — and it’s an open invite for every Boxwood member to get out, play the game we love, and soak in the moments that make it all worthwhile.
